Our culture
Putting our customers first must be at the heart of everything
we do. Only by engaging deeply with our customers can we
understand their unmet needs and deliver superior value. We
also need to be conscious at all times of the high-stakes
environment in which we operate. This environment demands
that we apply the highest quality and integrity standards –
always. To deliver superior value to our customers and ensure
quality and integrity, we need to improve how we team up
and leverage the skills, capabilities and expertise right across
Avikro.
We want the best experience for
our colleagues
We staff our positions based on assessed behaviour, potential
and capabilities. In 2020, we filled 74% of our Director-level
and more senior positions from within the company. For these
internal hires, we ensure our candidates are high performers
with strong potential.
Geographic Footprint
Approximately 59% (2019: 61%) of the Avikro workforce is
located in mature geographies and 41% (2019: 39%) in
growth geographies. In 2020, the number of employees in
mature geographies increased by 508. The number of
employees in growth geographies increased by 2,588.
Our ESG Strategy Framework
At Avikro we have adopted these seven steps to implement
our ESG strategy.
Materiality assessment
This assessment is an ongoing benchmarking exercise
focusing on Avikro's impact on the environmental and social
perspective side of the business together with any financial
materiality. This assessment structures our approach for
action and communication.
Baseline
Our ESG pledges prioritises our ESG program which was
already ongoing throughout the business. All internal
stakeholders have contributed to this program and are
committed to collaborate by collecting detailed insights and
improving Avikro from its current maturity of ESG across the
entire organisation.
Objectives and goals
Working groups of key stakeholders looked into our current
ESG statistics and calculated areas where we needed to
maintain or improve our commitment to our ESG pledges. The
Board of Directors fully support all our pledges of actions and
are committed to target dates and performance targets.
Future state gap
This process was undertaken to look at our current state of
environmental, social and governance achievements and map
against our objectives. This gave a realistic program which we
can confidently engage with our stakeholders and deliver.
