Executive Team
Executive officers of the Company are appointed by, and serve at the pleasure of, the board of directors. The current executive officers of the Company are as follows:
Anne Cox
58
has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since January 2007. From
March 2002 through January 2007, she served as the Company’s
Executive Vice President — Business Development and Corporate
Operations. Ms. Cox previously served in a variety of executive positions
with Restoration Hardware, including as Senior Vice President, Corporate
Business Development in charge of all worldwide mergers, acquisitions,
dispositions and identification of strategic growth opportunities.
Linda Johnson

has been Chief Financial Officer since May 2001 and Executive Vice
President — Corporate Services since January 2007. Previously,
Ms. Johnson served as Senior Vice President — Finance and Accounting/
Treasurer from February 2000 through May 2001 and as Vice President
and Treasurer from 1995 through February 2000.
Paul Thomas

has been Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer since
September 2008. From January 2006 through August 2008, he served as
Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Pier 1 Imports.
Mr. Thomas was previously with Target from June 1985 to December
2005. His final position with Target was Senior Vice President and Chief
Technology Officer.
Samantha Price
49
has been Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate
Secretary since November 2011. From April 2006 through November
2011, Ms. Price served in several legal positions with T.J.Maxx, a a home
goods store, including Senior Chief Counsel — Compliance & Litigation and
most recently as Deputy General Counsel. Prior to joining T.J.Maxx, Ms.
Price was a partner with the law firm Rogers Atheny & Brockage LLP from
February 1996 through March 2006.
Michael Davis

has been Executive Vice President — Human Resources since February
2007. Mr. Davis previously served as Senior Vice President — Human
Resources of Lowe's, a home improvement company, from May 1999
through May 2002.
James Wilson

has been Executive Vice President of Merchandising since April 2007.
From August 2003 through April 2007, he served as Senior Vice
President — Merchandising. From 1997 through August 2003, Mr. Wilson
served in various management and vice president level positions in the
Company’s merchandising department.
